Mediterranean Sand Limestone

Mediterranean Sand Limestone is a fine grain marble with a light to medium cream colour and small earthy grey veins interspersed with a collection of fossils across the surface. The colour combination and character make Mediterranean Sand stone slabs and tiles a favourite for external uses where it blends well with our modern architecture yet can easily be used in more traditional settings.

Though Mediterranean Sand is a marble, it looks like a limestone, though it is more dense and sturdy than most limestone tiles. When taken inside in a honed or brushed finish the patterning, fossils and movement within the stone add character and provide a rich tapestry of history underfoot.
