Project Feature: Island Luxury with Paglierino Travertine Flooring
This luxury holiday residence has been beautifully reimagined to celebrate island living at its finest. Originally designed by acclaimed architect Chris Beckingham, known for his iconic work at Qualia, the home has undergone a considered evolution with new architectural elements introduced by Andrew Waller Design.
Nestled into a lush natural setting, the residence seamlessly blends contemporary design with its tropical surroundings. A standout feature of the interior is the use of Paglierino Travertine, a warm-toned natural stone selected for the flooring throughout the home. With its soft, creamy colouring and subtle variation, this travertine adds a layer of understated luxury while echoing the natural palette of the island landscape. The stone’s organic texture and timeless appeal bring warmth and grounding to the airy architectural forms, enhancing the connection between interior spaces and the outdoor environment.
This thoughtfully updated home is a testament to how natural stone flooring can elevate architecture—bringing warmth, texture, and timeless sophistication to a contemporary island retreat.
