Porto Di Mare Marble is a versatile material that works beautifully both indoors and outdoors with its various finishes. Featuring fossils on the surface and faint veining that provides a sense of movement and seamlessly integrates into modern settings, adding an air of elegance and sophistication. Internally, it offers a silky feel underfoot with a brushed finish, while externally, the sandblasted finish ensures a stable grip, making it ideal for outdoor paving applications.
Although technically a marble, it is often mistaken for travertine due to its small voids created by gases during its formation in the earth’s crust. However, due to the specific finishing techniques, we do not recommend Porto Di Mare in honed finishes.
To protect and maintain Porto Di Mare Marble, treat it with XStone T3.21H Anti Stain, which also serves as a water repellent. This treatment creates a natural look on surfaces, leaves no residue, fully absorbs, and is easy to apply. It effectively guards against stains from oil, coffee, grease, wine, and more, without yellowing over time. Suitable for smoothed, brushed, and matte surfaces, XStone T3.21H ensures your Porto Di Mare Marble remains pristine. Additionally, solvent T3.21 is available for enhanced surface protection. Note: These treatments do not protect against acid substances.
